EZ Communication books are a great way for parents and teachers to assess a child's day! They are great way for parents, caregivers, educators and therapists to exchange notes, comments and ideas back and forth. The tear away comes in two different formats (50 pages and 90 pages) with three hole on the left hand side. This allows for parents or educators to rip off the page, place it in a binder to send home as a home-school communication book. Each pad is printed double-side, black and white. It contains a school communication page on the front, and a home communcation page on the back.   The school communication logs are a great way for educators to communicate with their students' parents or caregivers. It saves time from writing long page notes. Paraprofessionals can be given the EZ Communication to assist teacher in writing notes. Teachers, therapists and paraprofessionals simply circle: I, SA, HH, C or NF (view below) which describes the child's progess during a specific activity. Activities include: Calendar, Snack, Language Arts/Reading, Spelling, Math, Science, Lunch, Social Skills/Play, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech, Art, Music, Physical Education, Library and Other. On the bottom of the page there is room to write additional comments. It allows for parents or guardians to check a child's comprehension and improve social skills by asking them questions about their day checking the School Communication page. The home communcation is a great way for parents or caregivers to communicate with their child's educators or therapists. It saves time from writing long pages notes. Parents will answer questions such as: What did your child eat for breakfast, dinner, or after school snack? What TV shows/movies did they watch? What social activities did they particpate in? (For example: go to the park, play tee-ball, get a hair cut, go to the doctors etc) It's quick an easy; just circle the appropriate answers and write a brief description. On the bottom of the page there is room to write additional notes or comments. This allows for educators to check a child's comprehension and improve social skills by asking them questions from the home communication page. |
